Sunday, March 21st - In Search of Undying Love
This Sunday is the fifth Sunday in Lent and we will continue our search for the various forms of Divine Love. Pastor Nancy will guide us through some reflections on an unnamed woman who shows such love for Jesus that he says what she did will be remembered wherever the gospel is heard.
The day will begin with Adult Education, Chancel Choir, P.L.A.Y. Time and the Next Steps Class at 9:00am.
Then we’ll gather for our 10:30am Worship Celebration as we open our hearts to what the Still-Speaking God might have to say to us as we listen to Psalm 126 and Mark 14:3-9.
Children thru 5th grade will leave for Kid’s Quest after Children’s time. They will continue to experience the story of Mary Magdalene and her faithfulness in following Jesus.
Mark 14.3-9 (NIV)

6"Leave her alone," said Jesus. "Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 7The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me. 8She did what she could. She poured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare for my burial. 9I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."
