I have had the joy of being the Lead Pastor here at Plainfield Congregational united Church of Christ since May 2002. It is the 4th congregation I have served since graduating from seminary in 1982. From my background as a RN (prior to seminary) I have a passion for all forms of healing. I have been a Reiki practitioner since 1987. I have been a leader in the healing and peace movement known as the Dances of Universal Peace since 1985. I have been a leader in the wonderful, playful, joyful, life-affirming process know as Interplay since 2006. In my ministry I seek to help people find the fullness of life God dreams for all creation. I am also a Spiritual Director, Church Revitalization Coach and Retreat Leader.
I am married to Rev. Dr. Tom Zoelzer and together Tom and I have four children, all of whom are grown and on their own. Tom is currently serving congregations as Transitional Interim Pastor. As such he helps congregations explore where God is calling them and who god may be bringing to them to lead them into the next phase of their life. So you won't see Tom at church on Sunday. But you will have opportunities to meet him at some of the social events of the congregation, which he tries to attend whenever he can.
