Plainfield Congregational United Church of Christ participated in the "Immerse Yourself in Prayer" candle cloth project at General Synod.

As part of the project, the cloth we created was exchanged with one made by another church: St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Inman, Kansas.

Creator God, we thank you so much for your everlasting love. Like our cloth, we are not perfect. Life is a weaving with our finest threads being broken and stretched. It is our calling to keep weaving and find ways to tie things back together again. Enfold us in your tender love.
