DECEMBER 10th: PCCUCC will be going Christmas Caroling to our Homebound church members on Sunday Dec. 10th following our worship service! A hearty meal is served to our carolers beforehand!
DECEMBER 16th: Join us Saturday December 16th from 1pm-3pm for our Arctic Adventure Party!
DECEMBER 21st: We invite you to our Darkest Night Service on Thursday Dec. 21st at 7pm. The Holidays can be a painful time for some. It may be the first Christmas after a big life change: a lost job, a broken relationship, a wearying illness, a recent death - or perhaps it is simply a time that has always been difficult. For all these reasons, you are invited to join us on the longest night of the year as we remember those for whom the holidays are a time of struggle, grief, loneliness, and isolation. Everyone, regardless of church background (or lack of one) is welcome. Come. You are not alone.
DECEMBER 24th: Christmas Worship Service
We the people of Plainfield Congregational Church United Church of Christ seek to be a community of Christians who celebrate - and live in - openness to the voice of the still-speaking God. We celebrate the beauty and uniqueness of each expression of God's diverse family, as well as our oneness in Christ.
As we seek to live out our mission, we welcome into our community persons of every gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression. We welcome people of any age, race, nationality, economic or social status, faith background, marital status, family structure, and ability; we invite all to share in the life, leadership, ministries, fellowship, worship, sacraments, responsibilities, blessings, and joy of our congregation as we grow together in faith and love.
